Taylor Swift is eagerly counting down the days until the launch of her latest album.

On Saturday (April 6), the 34-year-old pop sensation thrilled her fans, affectionately known as Swifties, by using her cherished lucky number to announce that there are only 13 days remaining until the highly anticipated arrival of her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”

Taking to her Instagram Story, the “Cruel Summer” singer shared a captivating clip showcasing a typewriter typing out the words, “13 days until THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT,” accompanied by a convenient pre-order link for the album.

April 19 marks the official release date of Swift’s 11th studio album, a project she unexpectedly unveiled at the 2024 Grammys in February while graciously accepting the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for her previous release, “Midnights.” In her acceptance speech, Swift revealed that the album has been in the works for the past two years.

Currently on a brief hiatus from her global Eras Tour, which will resume shortly, the 14-time Grammy winner is dedicating her time to finalize preparations for the release of “The Tortured Poets Department.” In the interim, she has treated fans to a glimpse of the album’s main cover and divulged details about the four deluxe editions. Additionally, Swift has confirmed exciting collaborations, including features from Post Malone and Florence + The Machine, further heightening anticipation for her upcoming musical endeavour.
