Dua Lipa took to Instagram to announce her highly anticipated third studio album, titled Radical Optimism. Scheduled for release on May 3rd, the album draws inspiration from U.K. rave culture and features 11 songs. Explaining the concept behind the album, Lipa said, “It struck me – the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm.” She also revealed her fascination with the music history of psychedelia, trip-hop, and Britpop, which influenced her recording sessions.

The album cover captures the essence of the title, with Lipa peacefully standing in the ocean while a shark swims nearby. Collaborating with various artists, including Caroline Ailin, Danny L. Harle, Tobias Jesso Jr., and Kevin Parker, Lipa dives into a more raw and youthful exploration of life experiences.
