Beyoncé has revealed the title of her upcoming country album: Act II: Cowboy Carter. It’s the second part of her ongoing three-act project that began with Renaissance in 2022 and will be released on March 29th. The record features the previously released singles “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em,” the latter of which became the first No. 1 country single by a Black woman.

The album’s details are still limited, but there is speculation that it might include a cover of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” based on comments the country icon made this week. Beyoncé also collaborated with renowned musicians like Rhiannon Giddens, Justin Schipper, Robert Randolph, and Raphael Saadiq on the album.
