A woman accused of stalking Harry Styles allegedly inundated the singer with 8,000 cards within a span of less than a month.

Myra Carvalho, 35, reportedly sent handwritten letters to the former One Direction member and also purchased numerous cards for him online, which were subsequently delivered to his address, as detailed in Harrow Crown Court via BBC News.

Prosecutors claimed that among the cards sent to Styles by Carvalho were some with wedding themes, and two letters were personally delivered to the address of the ‘As It Was’ artist.

Carvalho, a Brazilian citizen, had been residing in a backpacking hostel in Earl’s Court, West London, since arriving in the UK last December, with her family reportedly unaware of her travel to the country.

Carvalho did not enter a plea and was remanded in custody pending a hearing at the same court scheduled for April 19.

This incident recalls a similar case in 2019 when a homeless man who had camped outside Styles’ residence for several months was convicted of stalking the pop star. Styles testified feeling “scared” and “very uncomfortable” due to the actions of Pablo Tarazaga-Orero.

In unrelated news, Styles, accompanied by Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, attended Luton Town’s game against Manchester United at Kenilworth Road last Sunday (February 18).

Additionally, it was recently disclosed that Styles was being considered for a significant role in the upcoming Mean Girls film.
