Justin Timberlake Unveils Upcoming Album “Everything I Thought It Was” – First Release Since 2018’s “Man of the Woods” Pop sensation Justin Timberlake is staging a musical comeback with his forthcoming album, “Everything I Thought It Was,” set to drop on March 15 through RCA. The lead single, “Selfish,” accompanied by a visually captivating music video directed by Bradley J. Calder, has already been released for fans to enjoy. Collaborating with songwriters Louis Bell, Cirkut, Theron Thomas, and Amy Allen, Timberlake co-wrote “Selfish” and co-produced it with Bell and Cirkut. In a conversation with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, Timberlake shared insights into the album, saying,

“I think there are moments that are incredibly honest, but, also, there’s a lot of enjoyable moments on this album.”

This weekend, Timberlake is set to perform on Saturday Night Live, hosted by Dakota Johnson. Reflecting on his involvement, Timberlake expressed,

“I flirted with the idea of, should I host or ask to host? And then I just thought, ‘No, this album is really special to me in a different, different way.’” Despite not hosting, Timberlake hinted at potential sketch involvement, stating, “And, yeah, you read that perfectly, but I also cannot imagine that I won’t get pulled into a sketch or two. It’s only natural. And I’m here for it. That’s always fun. SNL, for me, in any capacity. I’ve hosted five, but I don’t even know how many times I’ve been on the show.”
