Michael Keaton and Tim Burton have both agreed that if they move forward with the Beetlejuice sequel, “it has to be done as close to the way we made it the first time”, going on to share that “improvising and rigging, but literally handmade stuff like people creating things with their hands and building something”.

Keaton added that making the sequel is “the most fun I’ve had working on a movie in I can’t tell you how long.”

On the film’s IMDb page, it lists a lot of the original cast members as returning, including Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara, with the addition of Jenna Oretga who has found success with Netflix’s “Wednesday” series.

The film is set to be released on September 6, 2024.
