Taylor Swift teased a snippet of her re-recorded version of Wildest Dreams, which is featured in the trailer for the upcoming animated Dreamworks film titled Spirit Untamed.  As Billboard describes, “Spirit Untamed follows the story of a girl named Lucky Prescott who moves back in with her father, voiced by Jake Gyllenhaal, in the quaint town of Miradero, where she finds kinship with a wild mustang.”

Wildest Dreams (Taylor’s Version) is the second single off Taylor’s re-recorded Fearless album, which is set to drop on April 9.  In 2019 Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings purchased Taylor’s previous record label, Big Machine Label Group for $300 million.  Scooter then sold Taylor’s entire music catalog to Shamrock Holdings, which is said to be part of the $300 million deal.

Taylor released Love Story (Taylor’s Version) last month and it became Taylor’s first No. 1 debut on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.  Taylor has not yet revealed a release date for her re-recorded version, but it could arrive closer to the film’s release date, which is June 4th.
