Cardi B Reveals Why She Filed for Divorce: "I Didn't Wait Until He Cheated on Me Again"

As you may have heard by now, Cardi B has filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Offset.  During a live video on OnlyFans, Cardi explained, “You cannot hurt my feelings trying to throw the divorce in my face because, at the end of the day, I decided I wanted to leave.  I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again.  I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.  I just got tired of f—ing arguing. I got tired of not seeing things eye to eye.  When you feel like it’s not the same anymore, before you actually get cheated on, I rather just be… you know what I’m saying? Like, I’m tired of people.”

Cardi then admitted, “I could date any man I want.  My DMs are flooded.  I don’t actually want to date nobody. I’m so focused on my business that it’s crazy.”  She then added, “I don’t have a bad relationship with my baby father. At all.  I don’t have no hatred towards him. And I don’t wish him nothing bad and I know that he feels the same way about me.”

According to documents which were obtained by PEOPLE and later confirmed by Billboard, Cardi filed for divorce on Sept. 15 in Atlanta, Georgia.  Responding to her fans for their ongoing support, Cardi shares, “I want to say thank you so much. However, like, I don’t really need it.  I’m okay. I want to let you know I have not shed not one tear.”
