The Weeknd has officially dropped the music video for ‘Blinding Lights’, which was directed by Anton Tammi, the same director behind ‘Heartless.’

The video begins with The Weeknd laughing uncontrollably with blood dripping down his face. Next, it picks up where the ‘Heartless’ video left off, as Abel continues to take over Sin City, riding around in a fancy sports car in the same red suit.

He then finds himself fighting with some bouncers – and if you look closely, Abel somewhat resembles The Joker.

‘Blinding Lights’ was originally teased in a Mercedes-Benz commercial in late November.

The Weeknd then performed both tracks, for the first time, live on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

And in case you were wondering, there WILL be an album – when asked on Twitter back in December, The Weeknd responded with, “Of course I am eventually.”

Check out some BTS photos that were posted onto The Weeknd’s Instagram page, days leading up to the release of his music video.
