Life as We Know It

3/10 Life as We Know It on HBO I’m usually a sucker for romantic films, but I do get pretty picky with the plot material. In my opinion, a chick flick is one of the easier movies to make, so the plot and the acting has to be good. This movie did not live up to its potential. I have enjoyed other movies with @katherineheigl and @joshduhamel, and my problem with this show has nothing to do with them. Their acting was as good as you would expect from a romantic comedy. The plot material was not believable. It’s basically a story about 2 people who hate each other getting stuck raising their best friends child together, and then forcing themselves to love each other for the sake of the child. It’s completely unrealistic, and a terrible portrayal of co-parenting. Two people with zero chemistry, and completely different lifestyles/morals/parenting choices who fight non stop cannot possibly be healthy co-parents. Disagree? Tell me about it below! If you were thinking of watching this movie, I’d skip it. • • • • • • • #lifeasweknowit #lifeasweknowitmovie #katherineheigl #joshduhamel #joshlucas #hayesmacarthur #christinahendricks #sarahburns #jessicastclair #melissamccarthy #kumailnanjiani #willsasso #robhuebel
