In addition to the second single called ‘Blinding Lights’, The Weeknd also revealed a commercial with Mercedes Benz and their new campaign. Earlier this evening, Abel posted on Instagram, “Excited about this collab. Creative directing the all-new EQC campaign.”



According to Bettina Fetzer, who is the Vice President of Marketing for Mercedes Benz, she writes, “We are delighted about the collaboration with Abel Tesfaye, better known as The Weeknd.  The cooperation was inspiring and gave us lots of new and creative impetus.  Abel’s talent as the creative director and performer is the right combination for this unique Mercedes moment on the road to an electric future.”  The Weeknd also kept fans on their toes with Blinding Lights – reminding them that new music was on the way.
