Bianca Andreescu has reportedly signed a $50,000/year endorsement deal with Rolex! To announce the exciting news, Bianco posted a photo and in the caption writes, Excited to announce that I’m officially a part of the Rolex family.  Can’t wait to get to work with the Rolex team.”

Pierre Gagnon who is an associate at Generation Agency said back in May, “Considering Bianca’s athletic potential, talent and determination in her sport, this collaboration with Copper Branch was an obvious fit as it coincided with the brand’s inherent values in always offering its best in a competitive environment.”  Bianca, who is only 19-years old, won the Rogers Cup and then won the Grand Slam singles title at the U.S. open, becoming the first Canadian, male or female, to ever win.

According to Forbes, “In addition to Rolex, Andreescu has sponsorship deals with Nike, BMW and tennis equipment maker Head, and their renewal fees are expected to jump when the current deals lapse.  Rolex has a major presence in the sports world with endorsements in golf, motor sports, tennis and yachting. Some of the world’s most famous athletes pitch Rolex watches, including Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Roger Federer and Lindsey Vonn.”

In a recent statement made by Bianca’s agent, Jonathan Dasnières de Veigy, he says,Honestly, we didn’t think that day would come so soon, but now she’s arrived, we’re in a position where we don’t need to rush.  First and foremost, we want to ensure that Bianca is at the peak of her game as a professional athlete. Our job is to keep her life as simple as possible, so she can focus on tennis.”

Congrats, Bianca! #SheTheNorth
