So everyone wants to know – HOW and WHEN did Taylor Swift and Katy Perry became friends again.

During her phone interview’s with Capital FM, BBC Radio and Heart, Taylor explained how the pop princesses put aside their differences following their public feud.  Taylor explained to Capital, “She and I have been on good terms for a while.  She sent me a really nice note and an olive branch to my tour when it started a while ago. From that point on, we’ve been on good terms. Then we saw each other at a party and walked up to each other and hugged it out and talked about things.  Something felt so much lighter about my life when things became really good between us, and we’ve been fine for a while.”  Taylor continued, “We wanted to make sure that was solid between us, before we made the public aware.”

Taylor then told BBC Radio, “We’d grown past allowing ourselves to be pitted against each other.”

“It’s a really positive thing for both of us in our lives.  We ran into each other at a party a while ago and it was literally like in the video, seeing each other, but without the food costumes,” Taylor dished to Heart Radio.

Katy also made a cameo appearance in Taylor’s new music video.  According to Billboard, “Swift then shared how the idea for the two to dress up as a burger and fries in her new video came about. She had the idea after seeing Perry dress as the Jeremy Scott burger at the Met Gala, which Swift thought was very “punk,” and after she presented the idea, Perry said, “I would love for us to be a symbol of redemption and forgiveness.” Taylor told BBC, “I was like, ‘Can we do a burger and fries as a metaphor for two people that belong together?'”

This has to be the prettiest burger and fry I’ve ever seen! #LOL
