The film will be produced by Simon Fuller and it’ll be animated!  The film will also feature Spice Girls classics and some new records AND according to multiple outlets, all FIVE members will be involved.  Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice)  and even Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice) – they are all down for this project.

Mireille Soria, who is the president of Paramount Animation says, “[The girls] had an idea that we’ve been developing.  They are very involved.”  Although a director has yet to be named, the film will be written by Karen McCullah and Kiwi Smith, who worked on ‘10 Things I Hate About You’ and ‘Legally Blonde.

The Spice Girls were formed back in 1994 and for the last month, have been touring the U.K. on their reunion tour, minus Victoria ‘Posh Spice.’  The last time the girls took the stage together was in 2012 for the Olympics and their last movie, Spice World debut in 1997.
