Prior to their Billboard Music Award performance, Halsey gifted her new BFFs, BTS, with pink-diamond friendship bracelets.  Halsey shared a short clip of her wearing the her new sparkly with the caption, “Finally got to give these to everyone.”  In addition, Halsey also added ‘??, pronounced oo-jung,’ which is Korean for ‘friendship.’

Although it’s unclear who ‘everyone’ is, fans were able to pick up BTS vibes – that and one of the BTS members shared a video, wearing the bracelet.  He later tweeted, “Thanks!!” and he tagged Halsey.  The #BTSArmy pointed out it was BTS member J-Hope who took the photo

According to Bustle, “BTS revealed more about the bracelets on the BBMAs red carpet, explaining that the jewelry’s pink and white band isn’t just a pretty colour for the friendship bracelets, but it actually pays tribute to the group as a whole according to the group’s red carpet interview.”  The band explained, “Our cover of the album is pink, so she made it like, white and pink.  That was like, so kind of her.”  And look at the BFFs backstage at the BBMAs below.

Both BTS and Halsey took the stage last night at the BBMAs, performing their number one hit, Boy With Luv.  According to Billboard’s records, Boy With Luv is the highest-ever charting song in the U.S. by a Korean group.  It debuted at number 8 on the Hot 100 chart AND BTS made SNL history by becoming the first Korean group to perform live on the popular Saturday night show.
