Gearing Up for the Golden Globes

The official list of nominees vying for their Golden Globe is out, and you can see it HERE.

The Hollywood Foreign Press has announced a new major award  for TV, “we find ourselves in the golden age of television” so “a prestigious new award” will be added similar to the Cecile B. DeMille Award (which honours those who work in Movies). This will be the first year for such an award, and it remains unnamed…

for now…

As far as nominations go, “Vice” leads with six nominations, followed by “A Star is Born”, “The Favourite” and “Green Book” with three.

For television, “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” is up for four, followed by “Barry”, “The Komisnky Method”, “Homecoming”, “Sharp Objects”, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and “A Very English Scandal” with three.

The 76th Golden Globe Awards will air January 6th on NBC, hosted by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg.

Taylor Swift Lends Support to LGBTQ Event

Taylor Swift showed up to her producer/BFF’s LGBTQ event Wednesday, and brought a microphone and a guitar…

Swift performed with Hayley Kiyoko at The Ally Coalition benefit show, an annual event that works towards LGBTQ equality.

Other performances were given by Regina Spektor, Lana Del Rey and Jack Antonoff.

Justin Timberlake Postpones Remaining 2018 Shows

Justin Timberlake has postponed all remaining 2018 dates on his Man of the Woods Tour due to severely bruised vocal chords. He’s been asked by his doctors to stop singing for at least one full month.

He’s been keeping fans in the loop following two quasi-recent postponements; one in NYC in October, the other in LA a couple weeks ago, via social media.
