Disney Unleashes First Look at “The Lion King”

Disney’s live action remake of their 1994 animated classic “The Lion King” features a stacked cast list including Beyonce, Chiwetel Ejoifor, Seth Rogan, Donald Glover, Keegan Michael Key and James Earl Jones.

The Jon Favreau directed film hits theatres July 19th, 2019.

Rita Ora Upset Over Parade Performance

…and rightly so. The British pop star insists her shows are always “100 percent live” and authentic following the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade lip sync fiasco. The singer missed her song cue and was not able to recover throughout the entire performance.

The parade took place in the frigid New York City streets Thursday morning with performances from Ora, Diana Ross and John Legend. Legend was very quick to come to Rita’s defense saying,

Fun fact. We all have to lip sync on this parade because the floats don't have the capacity to handle the sound requirements for a live performance. Hope y'all enjoyed it anyway. Know that if you come to my shows, the vocals are 100% live! https://t.co/C2bGj63AF6

Macy’s actually spoke out in defense of ALL the artists saying, “During today’s NBC broadcast of the #MacysParade several recording artists experienced technical difficulties that negatively impacted their performance. We apologize and want fans to know these issues were out of the artist’s control.”

Thanksgiving in Delhi

The Jonas Chopra crew are putting the wedding fever on the back burner to celebrate American Thanksgiving from Delhi, India.

Nick and Priyanka landed in India earlier this week to get the wedding party started. The two will have both a traditional Hindu and Christian ceremony with the first beginning on the 28th on Priyanka’s home turf.

The ceremony is to last five days with a culminating reception and celebration December 2nd in Jodhpur.
