All eyes were on our dude Jaden last night at the Rolling Loud festival in Southern California. The singer slash actor took to the stage for a performance of his hit tune “Icon,” but he successfully shocked all in attendance with a legitimately incredible moonwalk. Who would’ve thunk? TBH, not us!

Speaking with XXL MagazineSmith attributed his fancy feet to mom Jada Pinkett-Smith and watching Michael Jackson. “I like to think that my mom taught me how to moonwalk, ’cause, she’s amazing at dancing,” he said. “And I would always watch Michael [Jackson], I would always watch Michael when I was young, and he would be moonwalking and—I don’t know. I just picked it up.” #HumbleNotHumble

Understandably, people freaked OUT. It wasn’t long before Twitter users were comparing him to the infamous Michael Jackson (we know)…

…Including himself. LOL.

While we’re sure it won’t be long before Smith has another, even more extra moment in the spotlight, here are 12 other times he made us smile/roll our eyes.

When he rocked an all-white Batman outfit

On Wednesday, the 18-year-old son of actors Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith dropped a video for his song “Batman,” in which he sports an all-white Batman outfit as he overlooks the L.A. skyline and cruises around in an Batmobile-esque SUV. In one scene, Smith even fights another Batman—one who is wearing the traditional black get-up—until a man dressed as Superman comes in and drags him away.

If the white suit looks familiar, it’s because it’s the same costume Smith wore to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding in 2014 and a high school prom in 2015. Smith explained his style choices to GQ, saying, “I wore the Batman suit to heighten my experience at the wedding and prom which was fun, but also at the wedding I felt as though I needed to protect everyone there and needed to have the proper gear to do so.” Talk about a statement piece!

When he brought his hair to the 2017 Met Gala as his date

When he told the New York Times that school isn’t “real”

“Here’s the deal: School is not authentic because it ends,” he told the outlet in 2014. “It’s not true, it’s not real. Our learning will never end.” The wise-beyond-his-years actor added, “Kids who go to normal school are so teenagery, so angsty… You never learn anything in school.”

Vogue even named his water bottle the accessory behind his “glowing skin.”

When he tweeted to Shia Labeouf that he had a “very important message” for him

The message:

When he compared himself to Galileo

In a 2015 interview with GQ, Smith said that he and his sister Willow “are scientists,” and that everything they do “is a scientific test upon humanity.”

Smith went onto explain: “It’s the best thing. People think you’re crazy—I feel like it’s an honor, actually, for people to think I’m crazy. Because they thought Galileo was crazy, too, you know what I’m saying? I don’t think I’m as revolutionary as Galileo, but I don’t think I’m not as revolutionary as Galileo.”

When he got real about Instagram

When he talked #life goals

“I have a goal to be just the most craziest person of all time,” he told the New York Times. “And when I say craziest, I mean, like, I want to do like Olympic-level things. I want to be the most durable person on the planet.”
