…was a board game, they probably don’t sell anymore.

i remember getting a copy of this as a kid and absolutely LOSING it over how giddy I was.

I fondly remember playing a few rounds with my parents, my sister and a few of my friends, all with a FUN spirit to em, and a pretty decent speed.

THEN, I started playing with my older-brother-like-figure, my cousin Keith.

We were always ultra competitive, even if he schooled me at about 99% of things.

There was ONE game, where I could usually even the score though.

That game: was Monster Mash.

For some reason, I had the uncanny knack to be able to spot the monster in question, lightning fast, and whip that sucker-hand thing down like a flash.

It was just about the only thing I could win at, until he realized the hand things also made excellent Swords.

NOW: I need to say, he never actually HURT me, looking back. Not to the point where it was abusive. Merely a classic “older sibling schooling the younger sibling” kinda setup.

HOWEVER…

KNOW THIS, PEOPLE CONSTANTLY REQUESTING MONSTER MASH:

You’re bringing back fond memories.

…of suction cup welts.

Happy Halloween.
