‘Katy Cats’ and ‘Barbies’ unite as Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj have teamed up for a new song called ‘Swish, Swish’.

The brand new track will appear on Katy’s upcoming album Witness, which is set to be released on June 9th.

Witness also features the singles, ‘Chained to the Rhythm’ (with Skip Marley) and ‘Bon Appetit’ featuring Migos.

Katy and Nicki actually have a little bit of history together.

Back in 2011, they took part in the VH1 Divas Salute the Troops event and appeared on stage together to perform a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s 1983 hit ‘Girls Just Want to Have Fun’.

In 2015, after Nicki and Taylor Swift got into a bit of a disagreement on Twitter over the 2015 MTV Video Music Award nominations, Katy sent some subtle shade Taylor’s way…

The two will likely perform the song this weekend at the Billboard Music Awards according to this tweet from Nicki…

Might the two perform it even sooner than this Sunday?

Katy is set to perform on the season finale of Saturday Night Live this weekend; Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson is the guest host.

I’m a BIG fan of this record and love when Katy teams up with rappers on her music (see, 2013’s ‘Dark Horse’ with Juicy J).

Witness from Katy Perry drops on June 9th!
