Demi Lovato definitely knows how to brighten someone’s day! On Thursday (Mar. 30th), the “Confident” singer paid an unannounced visit to Los Angeles Children’s Hospital, where she met with patients and posed for some fun selfies.

The mental-health activist showed her support for the hospital’s Make March Matter campaign by treating the youngsters to a special advanced screening of her upcoming animated film Smurfs: The Lost Village.

Prior to the start of the film, the children and teens were unaware that the GRAMMY-nominated artist was waiting in the wings to join them for the screening. They were completely shocked to see the 24-year-old stroll into the room alongside an actor costumed as a Smurfette – Demi’s character in the film.

Demi showed off her mega-watt smile as she posed for pictures with fans, who, judging by their faces were absolutely thrilled that the former Disney star came for a visit.

The Dallas native has more to celebrate than just starring in hotly-anticipated animated film. Demi debuted a new track, “No Promises” with DJ trio Cheat Codes on Friday morning (Mar. 31st). The show-stopping track was well received by fans, as her Lovatics sung their praises on Twitter and even got #BuyNoPromisesOnItunes trending on the social media platform.
