Johnny Depp has dethroned Adam Sandler as the world’s most overpaid actor. Depp proves that if he isn’t playing Jack Sparrow, the world doesn’t really care about Johnny Depp.

The most shocking part about Forbes’ list of the most overpaid actors of 2015 is that Adam Sandler isn’t in positions 1 through 10. He starred in Pixels this year, but it wasn’t released after Forbes’ cut off time for 2015. This pretty much guarantees that Sandler will be right back at number one next year.

This has given way for Johnny Depp to take the top spot. Depp starred in the abysmal Mortdecai and Transcendence this year, and rightfully, not many people went to the theatre to see them. Depp ran away with this year’s crown only returning $1.20 for every dollar earned.
