Here’s  what’s closed in Ottawa and area through Easter weekend.

 

Friday, April 3

City services

Ottawa City Hall and the city’s seven service centers are closed.

The Ottawa City Hall building will be open so people can visit  the FIFA Women’s World Cup trophy Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Garbage, recycling and green bin pickups that usually happen on Fridays will happen on Saturday.

OC Transpo will run a Sunday schedule.

Some pools, fitness centres and arenas will be open. The city says to check its website for details.

City childcare services are closed,

All Ottawa Public Library branches are closed.

Malls

  • The Rideau Centre is closed.
  • Bayshore Shopping Centre is closed.
  • The St. Laurent Shopping Centre is closed.
  • Place d’Orleans is closed.

Booze

  • All LCBO stores and agency stores are closed.
  • All Beer Stores are closed.

Sunday, April 5

City services

  • All Ottawa Public Library branches are closed.

Groceries

  • The Lansdowne park Whole Foods is open from 10 a.m, to 6 p.m.
  • All Loblaws, Independent and Farm Boy stores in Ottawa-Gatineau are closed.

Malls

  • The Rideau Centre is closed.
  • Bayshore Shopping Centre is closed.
  • The St. Laurent Shopping Centre is closed.
  • Place d’Orleans is closed.

Booze

  • All LCBO stores and agency stores are closed.
  • All Beer Stores are closed.

Monday, April 6

City services

Ottawa City Hall and the city’s seven service centres are closed.

OC Transpo will run a  modified schedule with no 600-series routes.

Some pools, fitness centers and arenas will be open. The city says to check its website for details.

Groceries

  • All Loblaws, Independent, Farm Boy and Whole Foods stores in Ottawa-Gatineau are open.

  • Certain LCBO locations will be open on modified hours. Check the LCBO website for details.
  • All Beer Stores will be open on regular hours.
