JUNO presSongwriters’ Circle announcement has just been made, Bruce Cockburn will be hosting the event in Ottawa on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the NAC Theatre.


– JUNO Songwriters’ Circle co-presented by SOCAN and Yamaha Canada Music will be taking place Sunday, April 2 at the NAC Theatre

– The event will be hosted by Bruce Cockburn

– Tickets go on sale this Thursday, November 24 at 10am at the National Arts Centre box office and

– Proceeds benefit MusiCounts, Canada’s music education charity

– With a performance by Shawn Mendes, stay tuned for more artist announcements in the new year

– Alt-rockers Arkells have just been announced as the next round of performers confirmed for The 2017 JUNO Awards. 


This year, the JUNO Awards has partnered with Plus 1 so that $1 from every ticket will be donated to MusiCounts, helping to ensure that children and youth across Canada have access to musical instruments.



The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) is pleased to announce that multi-platinum, award-winning singer and songwriter Sarah McLachlan will be the 2017 inductee into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. With a career that spans almost thirty years, McLachlan is one of Canada’s most celebrated and treasured artists, earning countless accolades including 10 JUNO Awards, three Grammy Awards and a Billboard Music Award.

McLachlan will be honoured with a tribute on at The 46th Annual JUNO Awards Broadcast from the Canadian Tire Centre!
