The Addams Family is Back

Our favorite Gothic family is back with a star studded cast featuring Charlize Theron, Bette Midler, Finn Wolfhard, Oscar Isaac, Allison Janney and more.

This animated movie will be based on the cartoon series from original creator, Charles Addams. The story will be based on the Addams family prepping for a large family gathering at their house while juggling a tricky situation with a reality TV show host. It’s theatrical release date is currently slated for October 11th, 2019.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Ready for Kids

Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, are ready to start a family. Both have commented publicly on their desire for children and now it seems to be a ‘priority’. A source close to Markle says, “She and Harry want to start a family right away, and she’ll start trying as soon as she can.” Evidently timing is everything when you’re royalty, the source continues,

“Harry and Meghan won’t rush into anything. They have a lot on their plate right now. But they both think that when the moment feels right, that will be the time to go for it. They’ll make fantastic parents!”

The newlyweds are currently living on the grounds of Kensington Palace in London in Nottingham Cottage. The two bedroom cottage is a ‘starter home’, the two have signed a leave for a $5.4 million house outside the city in the Great Tew Estate in the Cotswolds. Their rental home is near Victoria and David Beckham’s country house and will be a great place for Markle to host her out-of-town friends and, oh, I dunno… BUILD A NURSERY?!

Wishing them all the best! We’ll keep ya posted.

Sex & the City, 20 Years Later

June 6th, 2018 marks the 20th anniversary for the beloved HBO series ‘Sex and the City’. Six seasons, two movies and lots of ex boyfriends later, where are the girls at today?

Well, Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie) and Kim Cattrall (Samantha) are not on friendly terms. Last year, Cattrall went on record to say she didn’t want to do a third SATC movie; she wanted to simply close that chapter of her life and move on. She also divulged some unsavory dialogue about her co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, telling Piers Morgan,

“We’ve never been friends. We’ve been colleagues and in some ways it’s a very healthy place to be because then you have a clear line between your professional life and relationship and your personal… I never asked for any money, I never asked for any projects, to be though of as some kind of diva is absolutely ridiculous…”

In response, SJP told People magazine in 2018 “We had this experience and it was amazing, and nothing will ever be like it. We had a connection with an audience… with the city and with this crew, and we got to tell these crazy stories with each other… There was no fight; it was completely fabricated because I actually never responded. And I won’t, because she needed to say what she needed to say, and that is her privilege.”

I couldn’t help but wonder, where has the time gone? #SATC20

Sarah Jessica Parker is currently starring in a new HBO series, Divorce, which is on it’s second season. She has also teamed up with Gap for a children’s collection and has the SJP shoe line.

Kim Cattrall starred in Sensitive Skin for two seasons on HBO Canada and has been keeping busy on Broadway.

Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) seems to have traded her acting hat for a political one, running in the recent Democratic primary election for governor of New York.

Kristin Davis has been in a couple movies and made for TV specials, she is also heavily involved in volunteering with Oxfam and was recently honoured by the Humane Society for her work with elephants.
