Justin Bieber’s journey into the EDM world continues to be a massive success with his latest collaboration that sees him team up with David Guetta on the single, ‘2 U’.

‘2 U’ marks the first collaboration between the two since Guetta signed with Scooter Braun’s SB Projects which includes Ariana Grande, Usher, Martin Garrix and of course the Biebs himself.

With a simple tweet on Tuesday morning, Justin Bieber announced plans to release new music this week.

 

 

Before confirming the release of ‘2 U’, Justin tweeted out the names of six women,  leaving fans puzzled as to why…

 

 

It was then revealed that the six names were the names of Victoria Secret models, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, Stella Maxwell and Martha Hunt, who all appear in the video for the song.

Sampaio, Hosk and Tookes post clips of the song to their social media pages, prior to the song’s release.

We first heard about the possibility of a Bieber/Guetta collab when the DJ spoke with Capital FM’s Roman Kemp earlier this year.

Roman said, “I have to ask about that Justin Bieber collaboration, that’s gotta be coming soon, right?”.

Guetta’s response?

“Right…”

Well, it appears as though he was just being coy because ‘2 U’ is here and it’s a smash!

Last year, the two performed together when Justin showed up to XS Nightclub in Las Vegas where Guetta was spinning.

 

 

‘2 U’ will appear on Guetta’s forthcoming album which is set to be released soon. The project is also likely to feature his latest single, ‘Light My Body Up’ featuring Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne.
