Here are our fave and *least* fave looks of the 2017 GRAMMYs!

BEST: Laverne Cox

Laverne took Chrissy Teigen’s 2016 AMA look to the next level with this leather number. A leather LBD may not be revolutionary, but it hits her in all the right places, accentuates her jealousy-inducing curves and shows some skin without relying on illusion netting so I’m all for it. —Ishani Nath, associate features editor, FLARE

WORST: Kirstie Maldonado

The last time I saw this look was at Christmas and it was on a candy cane. I so badly wanted to love Kirstie Maldonado’s look because #CanadianSolidarity, but between the illusion netting and the awkward stripes that quite nearly freed one of her nipples, I just cannot get on board with this look. —I.N.

BEST: Chance The Rapper

Chance always looks good in my opinion and his grey-on-grey ensemble didn’t fail to impress tonight. His bomber-esque jacket was cool and unexpected, and I love that he stayed true to his signature look topping it off with a 3 baseball cap. — Erinn Stewart, assistant fashion and beauty editor, FLARE

WORST: J.Lo

If it weren’t for that damn tulle flower, I actually would’ve really liked J.Lo’s look. The colour worked for her and the dress itself—that plunging neckline and slit in particular—looked flawless, but I just couldn’t get past the distracting neckline. —E.S., FLARE

BEST: Katerina Graham

Legit no idea who this Katerina Graham chick is, but I am actually v. into the diagonal striped sequin number. It could be a total miss, sure, with such broad stripes and the dramatic red/white/black combo, but it somehow works. — Briony Smith, senior editor, culture, FLARE

WORST: Adele

Not everyone needs to go crazy or ultra-glam for the GRAMMYs, but it’s advisable to not wear an your old aunt Millie’s finest casino-wear, Adele. This green monstrosity is the type of austere evening gown they force onto matronly grande dames when they’re determined to have aged out of the sexy dress bracket. —B.S., FLARE

WORST: Tinashe

I don’t have anything against this Wang dress as a whole, it’s just the fit seems so off. It’s tugging in all the wrong places and looks like it’s an inch or two too short. I’m really digging Tinashe’s sculptural earrings, though. —C.H., FLARE

BEST: Charli XCX

Charli tends to look like a bit of a hot mess, so I was pleasantly surprised to see her show up in this embellished red Vivienne Westwood which, according to Billboard, she chose for its “classic glamour.” Achieved. But with that lifted sweetheart neckline and those punk-y safety pin earrings, the whole look still reflected her personality. —Tara MacInnis, associate fashion and beauty editor, FLARE

WORST: Katy Perry

Love the hair. Love the makeup. But then you arrive at her neck, and the sequins-on-the top, feathers-on-the-bottom Tom Ford monstrosity starts. Worst of all, the skirt is the same dusty pink shade as James Corden’s hideous silk jacket. —T.M., FLARE

WORST: Paris Jackson

I have given approximately zero thought to Paris Jackson over the years. But the outtakes from her debut Chanel campaign are smoking—she channels 1980s-era Madonna in a sheer pussybow blouse and platinum faux crop—and I also truly dig this glittery bandage-y Balmain. Add another name to the celebrity-kids-turned-It-girls list. —Maureen Halushak, deputy editor, FLARE

WORST: Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato is to be admired for many reasons—most notably her candidness about struggling with mental health issues—but unfortunately this gold macramé gown is not one of them. It reminds me of something Will Ferrell might have worn in Blades of Glory. —M.H., FLARE
