Amy Schumer buys back the family farm

Amy Schumer and her family lost everything when their father, Gordon, got sick. As if being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis wasn’t enough to deal with, the Schumer’s went bankrupt and lost everything including the family farm. At the time, Amy was only twelve years old.

Monday, December 19th, was a huge day for Amy and her family… She made a pretty big announcement via her official Instagram account:

Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me. We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him.
