Canadian sprinter Andre De Grasse gave Usain Bolt a little bit of a scare in their 200m semifinal heat, but the Jamaican would hold on to win with De Grasse close behind him, and with both sprinters sharing big smiles.

Canada didn’t end up on the podium during Day 12 in Rio, but there’s plenty to be excited about heading into Thursday.

Here are some notable events and Canadians to closely monitor.
